After a busy career in medical research, Carolyn has recently retired, which gives her a lot more time to devote to reading. Her favourite genre is crime in all its forms, but she also enjoys high quality science fiction and fantasy as well as historical fiction and contemporary literature. A lifelong reader, she also loved reading to her children and watching their love of books develop. When she is not reading, she keeps busy learning German, learning new songs on her ukulele and making patchwork quilts. She also intends to spend time travelling around the world post-pandemic.
